Staff Sponsorship

The operation of Father's House is 100% dependent on the support of donations of those wanting to make a difference in the lives of these children. Financial donations are gratefully accepted in the form of cash, or as a monthly withdrawal from your bank account. CAIRD is a Revenue Canada registered charity and can issue tax receipts for all donations over $10.00.

CAIRD has a policy to ensure that donations go to the requested sponsorship. This means that 100% of every dollar received, unless detailed otherwise, will leave Canada and go to meet the needs of children overseas.

We operate a "bare bones" operation within Canada. We use volunteer input, as much as possible, so help will reach the children. At CAIRD we believe that in God's eyes, "a child is so much." We also realize that the care and love we are able to provide to children is made possible through support like yours.

Direct Staff Sponsorship ($50, $100 or $150 Canadian per month)

This sponsorship goes to pay a staff member and it provides a slightly above average full-time income, when converted to Romanian currency (Lei). Our staff positions include childcare workers, maintenance staff, social worker, tutors, etc. A specific staff member is assigned to the donor, and this relationship is maintained by contact via email, letters, cards, gifts and updates.
